The Adidas Pro Model was one of the very first shoes to be invented for sports and athletics way back in the late 1950’s / early 1960’s. The adidas pro model was primarily used as a basketball boot with it’s high upper for added ankle support. The shoe was later released as the adidas superstar pro model featuring the unique rubber shell toe. The adidas pro model is now available in many different models.
